Tang Soo! And Welcome to Mt. Pleasant Karate
Since 2003, Mt. Pleasant Karate has been providing instruction in the traditional
martial art of Tang Soo Do Karate to our local community. Our programs are
tailored to students of all ages, beginning with our 3-5 year old Lil Dragons
classes and progressing up to our Adult classes. We also provide the after school
“Karate for Success" programs to all of the elementary schools in Mt. Pleasant.
Our mission is to share the many positive benefits of traditional training with as
many people as possible in order to extend and improve the quality of their lives.
Any Man, Woman or Child can Learn Tang Soo Do Karate
Age, sex or fitness are no barriers to mastering this art. Training begins with
simple motions of attack and defense and gradually progresses into more
complex combinations of techniques and action. As coordination and ability
improves, students are upgraded in rank and given more advanced instruction
appropriate to their abilities. Fitness and flexibility improves by performing these
techniques and by stretching before and after each class.
How to get started:
To begin, all you need is the desire to learn. It's never too late to start.
Call Master Glenn Arnold at (843) 388-2220 to set up your first private orientation
lesson. We can schedule a time that suits your availability, afternoons, evenings
and/or weekends.

the direction of karate legend C.S. Kim.
