Our Karate for Success program is an after school program.
We are proud to offer this program in conjunction with Wando Community Education during the school year.
We are pleased to provide this  program at the following Mt. Pleasant Schools:

Next session begins 9/27/10

Sullivan's Island
Belle Hall Elementary
Laurel Hill Primary
Jennie Moore
James B. Edwards
Pinckney Elementary
Mt. Pleasant Academy

Our “style” of Karate is called Tang Soo Do (pronounced Tung Sue
Doe).  Tang Soo Do dates back over 2,000 years and is taught in its
traditional form.  Master Glenn Arnold our chief instructor has been
involved in traditional Tang Soo Do for nearly thirty years, and was
taught by the same instructor as Chuck Norris.  All of our instructors
attend ongoing certification programs so that they may effectively
teach at the highest level possible.

Our programs teach prevention first then if all else fails, we teach
techniques that a child can effectively use against an attacker.

Karate for Success does not promote active aggressiveness and
teaches children respect for themselves and others. They are taught
when, where, and how to use their skills and are constantly reminded
that if they use what they have learned for something other than self
defense, they will be expelled from the program forever.

Every class is conducted with traditional formality and etiquette, and
encourages good manners and respectful behavior at school, home
and in the Karate for Success class.

The children will also learn to have the discipline and self-confidence
to walk away from peer pressure, ignore the school bully, and be more
aware of their surroundings so that they can avoid trouble.
They will also become more physically fit.  It’s no secret that America
has fallen far behind other countries with regard to fitness.
Traditional Tang Soo Do training improves overall fitness, and helps to
improve discipline for school study time.

Children who participate in our Karate for Success programs are
welcome to attend class at our Mt. Pleasant School at no additional
charge.

I am sure that after you see our programs in action, you will agree that
your children will learn grow and gain benefits that last a life time.

Sincerely,

Master Glenn J. Arnold
